Selection of Board Members in Family Businesses
Engineer Ismail Sharara, Director of Operations in " Saudis Directors" which represents the Institute of Directors, UK, stressed that the Board of Directors in family businesses must include experts such as an expert in financial and legal matters, an expert in the industry of the business in addition to an expert in companies and commitment.
Eng. Sharara who presented a lecture held by Asharqia Chamber in cooperation with the Institute branch, noted that it is essential for experts to be of certain qualities such as great precision, vision and composure. The lecture was entitled “Methodology of giving roles for Board of Directors Members in Family Businesses" and was held yesterday Tuesday April 16, 2013.
